OUR FOUNDER also view www.marybanks.net Mary Banks is an apostle to the body of Christ and the founder of Bible Teachers International, a division of Mary Banks Ministries. BTI Worship Centers & her Training Centers are now located throughout the US, Canada, & the Caribbean Islands with new doors opening everyday. Mary Banks is known as "The Bible Teacher" who brings a sure word to the church! She is also the founder of Lifesavers International, a Christian Evangelistic Recovery Program that reaches out to the lost at their points of need. She has been instrumental in the salvation, recovery and development of many who had previously been bound by drugs, damaged emotions and other powerful captivities! Many who have been set free through her Recovery Programs are now operating Lifesavers Clinics, Online Internet Counseling Forums and classes internationally. Dr. Banks has touched the hearts and souls of thousands held captive by crack cocaine, depression, alcoholism and “lives without purpose” through her crusades, street ministries, schools of ministries, School of the Prophets, dramatic productions with Bible Theatre, books and instructional audio and video media, as well as her Mary Banks Global Training Center Website which offers a “virtual classroom” with online video courses available 24 hours a day worldwide. She received the Martin Luther King Award in 1996, which was presented to her by the governor of Florida in recognition for her contributions and teachings throughout the State of Florida. In addition, she received a “Proclamation” from the Dade County Board of Commissioners in Miami for her spiritual and cultural contributions to society, as well as her giftedness as a Christian playwright in her production of The Potter’s House. December 29th has been heralded as “The Potter’s House Day” in Dade County, Florida by James C. Burke, commissioner. In 1998, The National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Club, Inc. selected Dr. Banks to be honored as one of the outstanding female pastors of Broward County for significant contributions to the spiritual growth of the South Florida community. The apostle is careful to make it known that the degree or title of Dr. Banks is honorary in nature and was bestowed upon her by an institution recognizing her years of ministry; as well as ministerial curriculum development for the education and training of ministers, and the development and installation of spiritually-based clinical recovery programs that have brought deliverance to souls worldwide. Thus it is her desire to make it known that the revelations that have brought many who attend her churches and ministerial training schools throughout America and abroad to that place of spiritual perfection, did not come as a result of her being formally educated, but by a face to face visitation from our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
